Nazis at RACHANIE (near Tomaszow Lubelski)

At Rachanie, Siemnice and Wozuczyn, various S.S. operatives carried out mass murders of Jewish residents. The known perpetrators include: Anton Giefing, Johann Grass, Gerhard Jachel/Yachel, Herbert Kleiber, unknown Lenz in Siemnice, Eduard Linhart, Lorenz Lindhuber, Florian Morawitz, Friedrich Olszewski, Meister der Gendarmerie Richter, unknown Rogalski, Dorfführer Schmidt in Siemnice, Schutzpolizei Schreiner and Georg Wenk.

Nazis at TYSZOWCE (near Tomaszow Lubelski)

The main Nazi operative in Tyszowce was Ernst Heinrich Schulz (or Schultz). He is pictured on the steps, behind the others in the photo at left.

Other Nazi operatives in Tyszowce included: Albert Bar, Erwin Beier, Karl Ebeling, Robert Golke, Ludwig Heblich, Otto Volkmann, Herman Ernst Wiese, Christian Wild and Johann Zrenner.

Local collaborators -- identified by Jewish survivors -- included: Jan Bednarek, Anna Bednarek, Antoni Cieslik, Leon Jablonski, unknown Kotlitzki, Stefan Lepecki, Wladyslaw Machomet, Tadeusz Rak, Tadeusz Zdyb and Jan Zielinski.
